The Current Administration of the Hospital
The Matron is the head of the hospital. This is currently filled by Rev Sister Laetitia Ofoma. It has a bed capacity of 210 and 85 members of staff including two medical officers, four staff nurses one pharmacist, one lab scientist and many junior staff. Due to persistent lack of competent staff in the various facets of medicine and surgery, lack of staff security with respect to tenure, inadequate medical infrastructure, few opportunities for development, morale of the staff has remained low.
